✍️もちろん、「優勝する」に関しては win the title や win the first place のような言い方もあります。この win には「〜を勝ち取る」という意味があります。
また、「準優勝する」に関しては take the second place や finish second のような言い方もあります。ただし、runnner-up（ランナーアップ） は「準優勝者」を表す言葉として覚えておくと良いと思います。
