Dean Smith: So, we are looking at the parental role for an elite athlete. Obviously, at the moment, these 16-year-olds are going into a very important time of their careers, not just through their football where decisions are made at Christmas, in terms of their professional contracts and scholarships. Some players will be kept on and some will be let go and it’s the parental role in managing that. So, we’re bringing some parents who have gone through that to share how they dealt with it and some of their experiences that they can hopefully feed back to the parents that are here this weekend.
